For 2012, IAC Chapter 27 is, once again, hosting the Armed Forces Memorial Aerobatic Competition (AFMAC). Returning again to Grenada Municipal Airport (KGNF), Grenada, Mississippi.

YOU'RE INVITED TO COMPETE!!!

Please make plans to come to Grenada, Mississippi (KGNF), during our nation’s observance of Armed Forces Week, May 18 - 19, 2012, for IAC Chapter 27's third annual Armed Forces Memorial Aerobatic Competition.

CATEGORIES

Power categories Primary through Unlimited.

4-MINUTE FREE

The 4-Minute Free program will also be flown. New for 2012, Advanced competitors with, at a minimum, a Level 2 (250') SAC card are permitted to enter.

CONTEST DATES

Friday, May 18 – Saturday, May 19, 2012. (Rain day, Sunday, May 20, 2012.)

PRACTICE

Official practice day is Thursday, May 17, 2012. However, the aerobatic box will be open all week, and may be opened earlier by appointment, for those wishing to arrive early and practice.

TRAINING CAMPS

Training camps during the weeks leading up to the contest may also be facilitated by prior arrangement. Local Contact, Wayne Roberts to schedule.

REGISTRATION and HANGAR FEES

Primary - $80; Sportsman - $100; Intermediate - $100; Advanced $100; Unlimited $100; Four-Minute Free $125; Student fees 1/2 off. Fees waived for all first-time competitors, and for US Advanced World Team Members

FREE HANGAR SPACE LIMITATIONS

Hangar $10.00 per night. Free hangar space provided for all volunteering, current IAC Judges, and for US Advanced World Team Members.

ALSO

Thursday night pizza blast at the airport, sponsored by Pollan Aviation. Friday night hangar party, Saturday night awards banquet, Contest Shirt. Concessions will be available on site.

With Pre-Registration, all forms will be filled out and waiting for you when you arrive.
